Buy NowThe Momotaro Block Check Shirt is a refined take on classic workwear, elevated through exceptional Japanese textile craftsmanship and understated design. The fabric is woven in Nishiwaki, Hyogo Prefecture, a region internationally recognized for its mastery of yarn-dyed textiles and long-standing weaving tradition.
Made from 100% cotton twill, the cloth features a custom-designed block check pattern developed exclusively for Momotaro. The yarn-dyed construction gives the pattern depth and clarity, while the twill weave provides a satisfying balance of structure, softness, and durability. The result is a fabric that feels substantial yet comfortable, with a high-quality handfeel that improves with wear.
The shirt is built on a classic work shirt foundation, thoughtfully refined for everyday versatility. A compact collarkeeps the look clean and timeless, while the comfortably relaxed silhouette allows for easy layering without feeling oversized. This balance makes the shirt equally suitable for casual wear or more polished, heritage-inspired styling.
Fit Notes: New Momotaro shirts run true to size. If you wear a size M in American t-shirts, you should select a size M in this one. However, body types vary, so we always recommend checking our size chart for the perfect fit.
