MOMOTARO JEANS MXJE13035S 11oz #200 "Lightweight" Tapered Jeans

About this product

The Momotaro MXJE13035S #200 'Lightweight' Tapered Jeans offer a refined, warm-weather take on the brand's signature Tokuno Blue denim. Woven in Kojima at a lighter 11oz weight, this fabric retains the deep, saturated indigo tones Momotaro is known for while delivering a level of comfort and drape suited to spring and summer wear.

The fabric pairs Zimbabwe cotton in the warp – providing structure and durability – with Suvin Gold cotton in the weft, one of the world's rarest and finest long-staple cottons. Because the weft sits against the skin, the result is a denim with a silky, breathable finish, subtle sheen, and a luxurious softness that elevates it far beyond standard lightweight jeans. Despite the reduced weight, the fabric retains the rich depth and texture of Momotaro's heavier denims, fading beautifully over time.

The #200 fit offers a relaxed tapered silhouette with a slightly roomier thigh that gently narrows from the knee down, creating a sleek yet comfortable profile. Cut with a mid-high rise, it delivers a modern, versatile look that adapts easily to different styling needs. This model introduces a zip fly in place of the traditional button fly, adding a modern, practical update to the classic cut.

Details reflect Momotaro's commitment to refined, high-end construction. The jeans feature a lined waistband to prevent indigo transfer when tucking in a shirt, flush-set rivets that won't scratch phones or surfaces, thick custom engraved buttons, a larger coin pocket, hidden back rivets, heavy-duty canvas pocket bags, and chainstitched hems. The signature peach selvedge line runs along the outseam, and a white cowhide leather patch – inspired by the spring/summer season – completes the package.

Fit Notes: These jeans fit true to size. Please note that this model is available in even sizes only. If your usual size falls between two sizes, we recommend sizing down to the smaller option, as the fabric is sanforized and the waist will experience the typical…
