IHJ-134-MUS

interpretation of the classic ‘Type II’ jacket, made from 9oz paraffin coated Oxford cloth. Slightly longer in the body and less boxy than the original Levis cut, the fabric used here is very lightweight and breathable, with a light coating of paraffin to increase durability and improve hand feel. Finished with traditional knife pleats and a rear belt cinch, this is an ideal jacket for the warmer months, combining vintage styling with a more contemporary fit.

Reactive dyed - no colour loss expected

Lightly paraffin coated to improve hand feel and durability

Tonal stitching

Brass Iron Heart branded tack buttons

Flap pocket breast pockets with tack button fastenings

Single and double needle stitch construction

Internal felled seams

Traditional knife pleats either side of placket

Traditional belt cinch on lower back with brass rivets

Red bobbin thread

One-washed - no shrinkage to be expected

Machine washable but we recommend washing separately for the first wash to avoid paraffin transfer
