Buy NowCrafted in Japan, this Type II jacket from Omoto Denim features a rich and complex color achieved by combining indigo-dyed warp threads with black weft threads. The result is a deep, nuanced tone that stands out with understated elegance.
The fabric is woven in a sashiko-inspired cube pattern, giving the surface a unique texture with a distinctive three-dimensional feel. Despite its rugged look, the material remains soft and comfortable to wear.
Designed with two chest pockets and waist adjusters, this piece pays homage to classic vintage workwear while updating the silhouette for a modern fit. For added functionality, the jacket includes discreet side pockets at the waist, blending style with everyday practicality.
Fit Notes: Despite being a Japanese jacket, we find the sizing of this type II to be more Western than Japanese. If you usually wear a size M in American jackets, you'll find a suitable fit with this jacket in size 40 (M). However, as always, we recommend consulting our size chart for the perfect fit. It is unsanforized but one washed, so there will be no shrinkage.
