The ONI Denim 03500-8GG Beta Chambray Coverall masterfully reinterprets late 19th-century French chore coatsthrough Japanese craftsmanship. Created by enigmatic master Oishi-san with over 60 years of dedicated expertise, this coverall showcases 8oz selvedge chambray in distinctive Green Gray colorway. The beta chambray weave features low-tension construction on vintage shuttle looms, utilizing varying yarn shades in warp and weft to create subtle visual depth. Sulfur-dyed for rich color evolution, this fabric develops a unique patina through wear and aging. Updated with contemporary tailoring including shorter sleeves and cropped body, this coverall maintains workwear authenticity while offering refined silhouette.
Premium details include lacquered brass donut buttons, dual chest pockets (exterior and interior), patch hand pockets, and ONI labeling. One-wash treatment ensures dimensional stability with no future shrinkage expected. This 100% cotton coverall represents the pinnacle of Japanese textile heritage and ONI's uncompromising manufacturing standards.
Fit Notes: Although this is a Japanese-made jacket, the sizing of this ONI coverall is closer to Western fits than to traditional Japanese ones – consistent with most ONI garments. If you typically wear a size M in American jackets, a size 40 (M) in this model should fit you well. As always, we recommend checking the size chart to ensure the perfect fit. The fabric is unsanforized but one-washed, so no further shrinkage is expected.
