Three J. Press Bulldogs wearing N-Y-C Varsity Sweaters Enamel with Polished Silver Finish Pin-back Clasp Imported Only NY × J. Press pays homage to New York’s special ability to bring people together from all walks of life: the city’s way of facilitating the exchange and flow of ideas, styles, and inspiration among people and institutions who, in any other city, might never cross paths.
J. Press is a venerable institution in the city. While the business was established up the coast in New Haven in 1902, founder Jacobi Press came to New York City for fitting appointments every Wednesday for over a decade, before opening J. Press’ original New York store in 1919. Only NY is an independent lifestyle brand inspired by the city, the outdoors, and the arts since 2007.
An official marquee licensee of the City of New York and the MTA for over a decade, Only NY is known for a considered and honest approach in apparel, accessories, and home goods that represent New York on the global stage. This collection bridges tailored and casual through a shared appreciation for classic American sportswear.
Built around the palette of the New York City flag, the capsule blends J. Press’ Ivy League tradition with Only NY’s hyper-local illustrative approach.
