Pantherella Green Wool Blend Fair Isle Socks

About this product

Traditional Fair Isle Cashmere Blend Mid-Calf Length Made in Italy Originating on the remote Fair Isle, part of the Shetland Islands, about 100 miles off the northeastern coast of Scotland, this beautiful, intricate, and colorful folk knit style has a rich history dating back centuries.

Originally prized by local fishermen for its exceptional warmth and durability, the style gained global fame in 1921 when the Prince of Wales (later King Edward VIII) was photographed wearing a Fair Isle sweater, transforming this heritage craft into a fashion icon. Our timeless and cozily-elegant collection of socks and sweaters honors that rich history.
