The Papa Nui Coral Cruiser Sunglasses are the Papa’s take on early USN issue sunglasses, updated with contemporary quality and enhanced materials. A premium aviator style, the Coral Cruisers are made in Sabae Prefecture, Japan. They come with tough CR-39 Lenses that were developed in the 1940s, beginning as a high density shatterproof plastic that is lighter than glass and scratch resistant. Its original use was in B-17 fuel tanks helping to reduce weight and greatly enhance bomber range.
