The Pherrow’s Chambray Work Shirt is a faithful reinterpretation of pre-1940s American workwear, crafted in Japan with the brand’s signature attention to detail and authenticity.
Made from a 60% cotton / 40% linen chambray, the fabric offers a crisp, breathable feel that makes it suitable for all-season wear. The sax blue tone and subtle slub texture give the shirt depth and character, while the fabric softens over time, developing a natural patina with wear.
True to its vintage inspiration, the shirt incorporates a range of period-correct details, including a chin strap, shoulder yokes, triple-needle stitching, and ventilation construction – all elements commonly found in workwear from the golden age before the 1940s. These features not only enhance durability but also reinforce its authentic heritage look.
The silhouette is classic and versatile, making it easy to wear on its own or layered over a T-shirt. Lightweight yet durable, this is a piece designed to be worn regularly and age beautifully over time.
Fit Notes: This shirt runs slightly small, so we recommend sizing up one from your usual size. Compared to most global American brands, a Pherrow's size L fits similarly to a Medium. As always, we strongly recommend checking our size chart and comparing it to your best-fitting shirt to find the perfect size.
