SAMURAI JEANS 5-Pocket 15oz Otokogi Regular Straight Jeans

About this product

Introducing the 15oz regular straight model from Samurai Jeans, a perfect representation of the brand's commitment to quality and style. This model offers a comfortable fit around the waist and a gentle taper down to the hem, creating a vintage-inspired silhouette that is neither too bulky nor too slim.

Crafted from the robust 15oz Otokogi denim, these jeans are made using slubby #6 cotton thread, complete with little bits of cotton waste, pushed to the limits on vintage looms. This process gives the jeans a rugged look and texture, ideal for achieving those sought-after high-contrast fades.

The exclusive leather patch is a nod to Samurai Jeans' heritage, featuring the iconic warriors Musashi and Kojiro, the moon, pine trees, the Shinto 'torii' gate, and Mt. Fuji. The two seagulls on the patch signify these jeans as the successor to the S0510XX model. Attention to detail is evident in the exclusive flasher, iron sunrise buttons, copper coin-shaped rivets, the SAMURAI woven label, and the ‘Impermanence’ jacquard selvedge.

In terms of stitching, Samurai Jeans have focused on two primary colors: banana yellow and golden brown. The stitch count, needle count, and stitch width vary across different parts of the jeans, enhancing their durability and aesthetic appeal. 15oz Otokogi denim crafted for texture and high-contrast fades.
