SAMURAI JEANS S211VX "Benkei" 17oz Relaxed Tapered Jeans

About this product

Crafted from Samurai's iconic 17oz Bushido selvedge denim, this fabric is woven from hard-textured and slubby #5 yarn on an old-fashioned shuttle loom. Despite its relatively heavy weight and rough feel, expect high-contrast fades and alternating areas of light and dark as it ages.

The attention to detail is unparalleled, featuring a distinguished cow leather patch and the silver lamé selvedge ID, which mirrors the 'Katana Ha' (the cutting edge of a Samurai's sword). These jeans also boast an exclusive flasher adorned with iron pine buttons and copper coin-shaped rivets, enhancing their authentic charm. The iconic Samurai woven label proudly graces these jeans, while the Shogyo mujo 'Impermanence' jacquard lining showcases the brand's intricate craftsmanship. From the luxurious interior lining to the elegant exterior of the premium cow leather patch and copper rivets, these jeans epitomize a fusion of opulence and sturdiness unparalleled in the world of denim.

In addition to their exceptional construction, the Samurai Jeans S211VX feature a relaxed tapered cut with a mid-rise, making them the perfect choice for any occasion. Whether you're dressing up or down, these jeans offer both style and comfort, ensuring that you'll look your best no matter where you go.

As many other Samurai Jeans, the S211VX runs slightly small in the one wash version. In general, we recommend choosing one size larger than your usual. However, as always, we recommend checking the size chart first to find your perfect size. It is unsanforized but one washed, so there will be no shrinkage.

Samurai jeans have become a legend in the Japanese denim scene. Created in Osaka by Toru Nogami in 1997, Samurai represents the perfection of Japanese tradition, with its iconography of Sengoku-era Samurais and the search for the best and nothing but the best through materials, artisan garment-making techniques and unique detailing.
