Buy NowThe Samurai Jeans S5100VX is a prime example of Japanese denim craftsmanship. Featuring their 17oz 'Zero' unsanforized selvedge denim, first developed in 2004, these jeans showcase a remarkably slubby and neppy texture achieved through innovative use of uneven No. 5 yarn for both warp and weft. This high-rise regular straight fit comes pre-washed for immediate wear while retaining significant fading potential.
Distinctive Samurai details abound, including the 'Hinomaru' metal button fly, red and gold lamé selvedge ID, and goatskin leather patch. The S5100VX represents years of development and fine-tuning by Okayama's master craftsmen, overcoming numerous challenges to create a truly unique heavyweight fabric. With its middle straight silhouette and custom features like jacquard pocket bags and original back pocket stitching, these jeans offer a perfect blend of comfort, durability, and authentic Japanese denim heritage.
Fit Notes: As with many other Samurai Jeans, this model runs slightly small in the one-wash version. In general, we recommend choosing one size larger than your usual. However, as always, we suggest checking the size chart first to find your perfect fit. It is unsanforized but one-washed, so there will be no further shrinkage.
