The fabric is crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Samurai uses only the finest hand-picked raw cotton, expertly spun into slubby #14 threads that bring distinctive texture and exceptional durability to every piece.

To achieve the unique handfeel, the fabric is knit on a vintage circular knitting machine called 'Daimaruki' – a machine renowned for its historical significance in Japan during the first half of the 20th century, and now rarely seen in modern production. The slow-paced process gives the cloth a firm yet supple softness that no contemporary high-speed knitting can replicate.

A simple chest pocket completes the design, balancing the T-shirt's heritage character with everyday functionality.

Fit Notes: These T-shirts run small. Compared to most global American brands, we recommend sizing up one from your usual size for a comfortable fit. As a reference, a Samurai size L fits closer to a standard American Medium. We stock the Large (Overseas version), which is 3cm longer in length only than the standard Japanese version.
