SAMURAI JEANS SJST-RIM Inlay Loopwheel Solid Tee Concrete Grey

About this product

Elevate your everyday essentials with the masterfully crafted Inlay Tees from Samurai – a true staple of the brand's iconic core collection. Just like the pursuit of the perfect pair of jeans, finding the ideal T-shirt can feel elusive until you discover Samurai.

Every shirt is a tribute to exceptional craftsmanship and uncompromising quality. Made from aged cotton and knit on traditional loopwheel machines, this fabric undergoes a meticulous revival process. The cotton is carefully aged for 30 to 50 days in a temperature- and humidity-controlled environment, allowing it to return to its natural plumpness and softness – an honest expression of nature's own refinement.

The journey continues in Wakayama, where the aged cotton is spun into thread and entrusted to skilled artisans who operate vintage knitting machines. Though traditional loopwheel machines are severely limited in output – producing just 48cm of fabric per hour – Samurai embraces this slow, deliberate method to ensure superior texture and exceptional density. The result is a luxuriously soft, thick, and distinctive fabric that stands apart from conventional knits.

Beyond the fabric itself, Samurai pays equal attention to fit and form. The T-shirt features split sides for improved comfort and movement – a subtle detail that fuses heritage construction with modern silhouette design, delivering a garment that feels both timeless and contemporary.

Fit Notes: All Samurai T-shirts run smaller than standard American sizes. Compared to most global American brands, we recommend sizing up one from your usual size for a comfortable fit. As a reference, a Samurai size L fits closer to a standard American Medium. We stock the Large (Overseas version), which is 3cm longer than the Japanese version. As always, we strongly recommend checking our size chart and comparing it with your best-fitting T-shirt to ensure the right fit.
