The Seuvas Selvedge Indigo Chambray Work Shirt is a thoughtful reinterpretation of an American classic, meticulously crafted in Japan from proprietary fabric. Built on the success of Seuvas' initial chambray line, this iteration introduces a refined two-tone construction: indigo vertical warp yarns paired with sulfur black horizontal weft yarns, producing a distinctive tonal depth that sets the fabric apart from conventional chambray.
The fabric is a 7oz selvedge chambray – sturdy yet breathable, with the structure of selvedge construction and the comfort of lightweight cotton. The chambray develops a unique patina with wear, gradually softening while the natural fading reveals the interplay between the indigo and sulfur black yarns.
Construction details reflect Seuvas' commitment to craft. The shirt features a red selvedge line, double-gusseted side seams for durability and mobility, a locker loop, and an inner pen pocket for everyday functionality. Double-needle stitching reinforces the construction throughout. The fabric has been one-washed to prevent shrinkage and add immediate character.
Fit Notes: This shirt fits true to size. Compared to most global American brands, a size M fits similarly to a standard American Medium. We recommend taking your usual size for a comfortable fit. The fabric has been one-washed, so no shrinkage is expected. As a reference, we strongly recommend checking our size chart and comparing it with your best-fitting shirt to ensure the right fit.
