Buy NowThe Stevenson Encinitas Jeans redefine timeless craftsmanship with a versatile silhouette and distinctive detailing. Designed for both comfort and style, these five-pocket jeans feature a classic straight fit with added room in the waist and leg opening, making them an ideal choice for everyday wear. Signature Stevenson details – like the boldly arched back pockets, slanted V-shaped belt loops, and the iconic crossed rear belt loop – bring unique identity to this heritage-inspired design.
This is the Solid Black version of the Encinitas, offering a clean, tonal alternative to indigo denim while maintaining all the same construction quality and fit. A rare feature at this price point, the entire garment is single needle sewn, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship typically reserved for bespoke tailoring – a true work of denim artistry.
Made in Japan, the jeans are constructed from 12oz unsanforized black selvedge denim, woven exclusively for Stevenson Overall Co. by Kuroki Mills on vintage shuttle looms. The fabric, made from premium Zimbabwe cotton, features a slubby, textured surface that offers both durability and depth. This solid black denim blends rugged structure with evolved comfort, establishing a new standard in vintage-inspired black jeans.
Fit Notes: These jeans follow standard sizing, so we recommend choosing your usual size. The jeans are one-washed, eliminating most shrinkage from the unsanforized fabric. Expect typical waist stretch of approximately 0.5' to 1' with regular wear. For best results, refer to the size chart before purchasing.
