Denim shirts are a true wardrobe essential, ready to solve almost any style dilemma – think of them as the fashion equivalent of having a sibling who's a contractor. And when it comes to versatility, nothing beats a Western-style denim shirt, especially in a medium-to-lightweight fabric for year-round wear. That’s why we’re proud to offer what we believe is one of the best Japanese options available.
TCB has expertly recreated the iconic 1950s sawtooth shirt, a time when Western fashion and dude ranch culture were at their peak. Key features like the sawtooth flap pockets and the distinctive back yoke capture the essence of this era, while vintage-inspired details, like the precise 7/32-inch lapped seams and white shell buttons, honor the original design.
This dude ranch shirt has been updated with a refined fit, making it perfect for modern urban wardrobes. Crafted from 8.5oz indigo denim, the fabric has a subtle irregular texture, thanks to its slow weaving on vintage looms. Made from California-grown cotton, this denim carries a rich authenticity and natural character.
Fit Notes: TCB shirts tend to run slightly small compared to American sizing, so we usually recommend sizing up. If you typically wear a size M in American brands, a size 42 (L) in this shirt should be a good fit. However, we always suggest checking our size chart for the best fit.
