Buy NowThe Flat Head FN-8005 Regular Straight Jeans are built from substantial 18oz selvedge denim woven in Japan at high density with a thick weft yarn. The resulting fabric has the firm, rigid hand and considerable weight expected from heavyweight denim, providing a durable foundation that will soften and develop character through years of wear.
The denim is dyed an exceptionally deep shade, designed to produce the pronounced light-and-dark contrast that has become a signature of The Flat Head's denim. As the jeans are worn, areas of friction gradually reveal lighter tones beneath the dark surface, creating distinctive fading and a highly individual appearance.
A signature Flat Head detail is found in the raised belt loops. Each loop is constructed by wrapping the fabric and stitching it to create a raised center, with the surrounding stitching recessed on either side. This construction helps reduce wear and fraying where the belt contacts the loop while creating an additional surface that will naturally rub, fade, and develop its own unique aging pattern.
The FN-8005 features a regular straight silhouette, branded hardware, and a bandana pocket flasher. Made in Japan, these jeans combine heavyweight construction with carefully considered details designed not only for durability, but to become more distinctive with every year of wear.
