The cloth is The Flat Head's iconic 14.5oz Japanese selvedge denim, woven on vintage shuttle looms from 100% Zimbabwe cotton – a long-staple variety prized for its softness, strength, and exceptional aging character. The twill weave features a pronounced vertical structure that develops the brand's renowned 'Doshaburi' raindrop fades with extended wear.
What sets this version apart is the Real Aging treatment – applied entirely by hand to replicate the look of jeans that have already been broken in. Every fade, crease, and contact point has been carefully crafted to recreate authentic, real-world aging, capturing the kind of natural patina that normally takes years of dedicated wear to achieve.
The silhouette is The Flat Head's classic wide straight fit with a high rise – generous through the thigh, clean and straight through the leg. A relaxed, easy-wearing profile that pairs effortlessly with boots or sneakers.
