Buy NowThe Tiger & Dragon Reversible Souvenir Jacket from The Flat Head is a luxurious reinterpretation of the classic Japanese sukajan, combining post-war souvenir jacket heritage with the brand’s uncompromising craftsmanship. Designed as a true two-in-one piece, both sides are fully wearable and richly embroidered, giving you two distinct looks in a single garment.
Crafted from 100% rayon satin on both sides, the fabric delivers a signature sheen, fluid drape, and soft hand that defines traditional souvenir jackets. The surface catches the light beautifully, while the natural weight of the rayon creates elegant movement and a relaxed silhouette.
Each side features dense rayon thread embroidery, chosen not only for its vibrant luster but also for flexibility and comfort. One face showcases the iconic Dragon vs. Tiger motif, a classic symbol of strength and balance in Japanese folklore. The reverse presents a bold hawk design, equally detailed and striking. Despite the high stitch density, the embroidery remains supple, preventing stiffness and ensuring easy wear.
Construction details reflect The Flat Head’s technical mastery. A custom reversible zipper, rayon piping along the sleeves, and expertly sewn curved 'smile' pockets highlight the level of precision required to work with delicate rayon fabric. Even the ribbing differs on each side, so every detail feels intentional when worn either way.
Fit Notes: This jacket runs slightly small compared to standard American sizing. If you usually wear a size M in American jackets, we recommend selecting a size 42 (L) in this jacket. As always, individual body types vary, so we strongly suggest consulting our size chart to ensure the best possible fit.
