Buy NowArguably the finest Americana reproduction brand from Japan, the Real McCoy's painstakingly recreate and update original garments for the modern day offering the best from the past, replicated to perfection without compromise in Japan. The Geyser Sunglasses from The Real McCoy's take inspiration from the classic Saratoga-style frames famously worn by President John F.
Kennedy. Staying true to their commitment to historical accuracy, The Real McCoy’s have produced these sunglasses using genuine celluloid rather than modern acetate. Celluloid is the older, more traditional material - slightly heavier, with a richer gloss and a character that develops beautifully over time.
It’s also less prone to warping through regular wear, giving the frames both durability and a distinctive feel. The lenses are made from coloured glass rather than plastic, further reflecting the brand’s dedication to authentic mid-century construction. Like much of what The Real McCoy’s produce, it’s a thoughtful reproduction that balances vintage inspiration with exceptional craftsmanship.
