THE STRIKE GOLD 10oz Grey Slub Selvedge Denim Work Shirt

About this product

Introducing the latest creation from Strike Gold – a timeless denim shirt meticulously crafted with precision and style. Made from 10oz selvedge denim, this shirt guarantees a distinctive grid-like fade that evolves beautifully over time. The unique fade is achieved through the use of gray-dyed slub yarn woven on vintage shuttle looms, showcasing the brand's commitment to authenticity.

Built for enduring comfort and longevity, this shirt features meticulously rolled double-needle chainstitch construction at crucial points and showcases exquisite selvedge gussets adorned with the iconic Gold selvedge ID and chain stitching run off side seams that speak to the durability and craftsmanship infused into every detail.

What sets this shirt apart is its unexpected depth of texture and a rugged experience that defies its 10oz weight. The fabric provides a unique blend of lightness suitable for year-round wear, combined with the textured richness typically associated with heavier-weight shirts.

Strike Gold's tops run small, being one size smaller than your regular European size or even two sizes smaller compared to most American sizes. As always, we recommend consulting our size chart for the perfect fit.

The Strike Gold is undoubtedly one of the benchmark brands when we speak of Japanese denim. Established in Kojima, in Okayama Prefecture, the Hamamoto family has been focusing all its efforts for more than 10 years on producing denim, sweatshirts, shirts and belts of the very highest quality one can find today. Their denim fabrics, unique in the world for their texture, composition, incredible irregularity, stiffness, roughness and character, delight denim devotees around the planet.
