The UES Slubby Flannel Shirt combines the warmth and comfort of traditional heavy flannel with the distinctive texture of heavily slubbed yarns.
Woven from 8.8oz 100% cotton, the fabric uses slub yarn throughout the weft, creating a pronounced, irregular surface and a surprisingly substantial hand for its weight. A brushed finish adds warmth and softness, making the shirt particularly well suited to layering through the colder months.
The understated check pattern features small-scale checks in muted tones, giving the shirt a classic, versatile appearance without overpowering the character of the fabric.
Traditional UES workwear details include acorn-shaped chest pockets, double-chainstitched side seams, and selvedge gussets. A one-wash finish provides a comfortable feel from the first wear while helping to minimize shrinkage.
Made in Japan, this is a beautifully textured flannel that balances warmth, durability, and understated vintage character.
