Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the UES Garment-Dyed Indigo Zip Hoodie is a masterpiece of Japanese craftsmanship. Made from a premium fabric blend of American and Mexican cotton, with carefully selected fallen cotton, this hoodie boasts a unique texture with a rugged, lived-in feel. The indigo color is simply incredible – deep, rich, and full of character, destined to develop a stunning fade over time.
The fabric is knitted on vintage machines, ensuring a dense yet breathable construction. Despite its thick composition, it remains surprisingly lightweight, offering excellent warmth and wind resistance. The deep indigo hue is achieved through garment dyeing, followed by a bio-washing process that enhances softness and gives the fabric a naturally worn-in look.
Designed for both comfort and durability, this hoodie features a seamless tubular construction ensuring a perfect fit. The hood is sturdy and well-shaped, complementing the overall structure of the piece.
Due to the garment dyeing process, this hoodie has a noticeable amount of indigo bleed, especially during the initial wear. Be mindful, as the color may transfer to lighter surfaces, so it’s best to take extra care in the beginning to avoid stains. Over time, the indigo bleed will reduce, leaving you with a beautifully unique piece.
Fit Notes: It tends to run a bit small compared to American sizing. Along with their Japanese sizing, so we usually suggest going one size up from your regular American size. If you usually wear a size M in American brands, you'll find a good fit with this hoodie in size 3 (L). However, as always, we recommend consulting our size chart for the perfect fit.
