The UES No.8 Slub Nep Long Sleeve T-Shirt is a pure expression of Japanese heritage craftsmanship, built for those who value authentic fabrics, timeless design, and real durability. Crafted in Osaka by UES, this long sleeve tee is made from extra-thick premium slub cotton yarns, delivering a richly textured surface with a naturally soft, breathable feel.
The fabric is 100% Japanese ultra-slub, nep-heavy cotton (9.5oz), low-tension woven on a vintage shuttle loom to preserve the character of the yarns and allow the fabric to age beautifully over time. Each wear adds depth – just like your favorite pair of selvedge denim. The classic, no-frills fit and minimal construction keep the focus on the fabric itself, while the reinforced collar – a hallmark of top-tier Japanese manufacturing – prevents stretching and guarantees long-term shape retention.
This is the kind of long sleeve tee that anchors a denim-focused wardrobe. Throw it on with raw denim and let the texture do the talking. Finding the perfect T-shirt is never easy – but once you wear this one, the search ends.
Fit Notes: The Slub Nep Long Sleeve fits slightly larger than the short sleeve version and is comparable in size to UES flannels and jackets. If you typically wear a size 3 (L) in UES flannels, we recommend selecting the same size (3 / L) in this long sleeve tee. As individual body proportions vary, we always advise checking the size chart to ensure the best possible fit. This garment has been rinsed in Japan, so no shrinkage is expected.
