This short-sleeved cotton pique polo from UES is a masterclass in traditional craftsmanship. The fabric is woven on vintage shuttle looms, producing a distinctive seed-stitch texture that gives the surface a rich, uneven character far beyond standard pique. The result is a polo that feels as timeless as it looks – with a fabric that subtly evolves with wear, developing depth and character over time.
Cut with a tailored slim fit, the polo offers a clean, flattering silhouette – slim across the chest and waist, with snug-fitting sleeves that accentuate the arms without feeling restrictive. The UES logo patch, delicately embroidered on the left cuff, adds a quiet signature touch, while the collar ribs and cuffs strike a perfect balance of structure and softness.
Construction details reflect UES's commitment to long-term quality. Key seams are reinforced with cotton ribbon to help the polo maintain its shape over years of wear, while corozo nut buttons – crafted from the tightly packed organic fibers of the tagua palm – provide a natural look with exceptional scratch resistance. Every detail reflects the brand's quiet sophistication.
Fit Notes: This polo runs small with a notably slim silhouette through the chest and arms. Compared to most global American brands, we recommend sizing up one or even two sizes from your usual size for a comfortable fit. As a reference, we strongly recommend checking our size chart and comparing it with your best-fitting polo to ensure the right fit.
