Without a doubt, rice is the best match, so it can’t go wrong with sushi, onigiri rice balls, and ochazuke (green tea or dashi broth over rice).
But it complements a wide variety of dishes, such as cold tofu, nabe hot pot, udon noodles, salad, pizza, and pasta. If you’d like to enjoy extra crunchiness, use the seeds as an alternative for frying and grilling crusts. Or simply you can nibble on them as-is!
