Ikat patterns are skillfully prepared by resist-dyeing the yarns before the weaving and then skillfully handwoven on a traditional foot pedal loom to create our pattern. We use a weft weaving technique which is more niche and a higher degree of difficulty than warp weaving, which is more common.
