Buy NowTailored specifically for the Vermicular Yukihira Saucepan*, this enameled cast iron Drop Lid sits directly on ingredients to trap heat, circulate moisture, and keep delicate foods intact while simmering. It allows rich, concentrated flavors to develop using less liquid. Unlike traditional wooden drop lids that absorb liquids and carry over flavors, the non-porous design cleans up effortlessly and won't retain taste or odor. Vermicular's design brings modern performance to a classic Japanese essential.
