Referencing classic trainers from the 1980s, the Viberg Sneaker utilizes premium leather uppers and 100% natural cork to cushion the Goodyear Channeled Insoles. In addition to providing exceptional durability, cork also offers superior shock absorption and flexibility compared to foam, which is more commonly used and is less expensive. These hidden details create a product that is extremely high quality, fully resoleable, and true to Viberg's roots in traditional, authentic shoemaking.
The Viberg Sneaker is evidence of our constant drive to innovate as a brand. Development began in 2010, with the goal being to create a modern performance sneaker using the same production methods and machinery we have been using for the past century.
This silky suede with full natural reverse side is made using high-grade European calf skins. Extremely durable and weather-resistant - Charles F. Stead in Leeds stands as one of the oldest and most renowned tanneries, producing top-quality suede since 1890. Janus Calf Suede is, in our opinion, the finest suede on the market.
Viberg 1003 Sneaker last is a generous D width which will accommodate most types of feet. The depth of the last allows for a fully removable footbed which is standard on Viberg's sneakers. The 1003 fits similar in length to Viberg's 2030 last. We recommend sizing down one full size from your standard US sneaker size or Brannock measurement. If you have wide feet, consider going down half a size. Viberg sizes fit more closely to uk rather than US sizing.
