The WESN Forsta is the brand's first wallet – and the name makes that explicit. Forsta means 'the first' in Swedish, and the material sourcing follows the same logic: a single piece of Swedish vegetable-tanned leather, sourced from Swedish farms and manufactured locally, folded into a bi-fold and finished with two stitchings.
WESN built their reputation on titanium, and they've brought the same material honesty to leather. The Forsta develops a natural patina with use that makes each wallet progressively more individual over time – the opposite of how most wallets age. The layout is straightforward. Four card pockets – two partially covered in the front, two behind – handle 1 to 16 cards without the wallet bloating.
Behind those sits the Junk Drawer: a cash compartment with room for folded bills or coin. Closed dimensions are 3. 5 inches by 2. 8 inches at 0. 27 inches thick, opening to 5. 5 inches flat. Simple stitching runs through all three colorways – Veg Tan, Dusky Green, and Indigo Blue.
