WONDER LOOPER 876gsm Double Heavyweight French Terry Sweatpants Navy

About this product

Discover unparalleled warmth and exceptional craftsmanship with the Double Heavyweight French Terry Sweatpants from Wonder Looper. Crafted from an extraordinary 876gsm (25.8oz per square yard) cotton fabric, these sweatpants represent the extreme end of modern knitwear. Each pair is meticulously produced in Wakayama, Japan, a region internationally respected for its circular knitting expertise and uncompromising quality standards.

With a fabric density nearly twice that of conventional heavyweight sweats, these sweatpants deliver outstanding insulation, structure, and durability while remaining exceptionally comfortable. The premium French terry is knitted on low-gauge (10G) circular machines, creating a subtly irregular surface rich in depth and character. Inside, large, plush loops provide a soft, cushioned feel against the skin, offering superior comfort in cold conditions.

For an extra cozy feel, the interior has been lightly brushed to create a half-fleece effect. The French terry loops remain visible, but have been gently puffed up, giving the interior a softer, fuller hand while retaining the distinctive texture of the knit.

The garment has also been rinse-washed and pre-shrunk, helping to set the fabric and minimize further shrinkage at home.

Designed with a modern straight-leg fit, these sweatpants balance relaxed ease with a clean, refined silhouette. The elastic waistband with drawstring ensures an adjustable, secure fit, while front slash pockets and a rear patch pocket add everyday functionality. Ribbed side panels enhance flexibility and mobility, reinforcing the garment’s athletic heritage while maintaining a streamlined appearance.

Finished with Wonder Looper’s signature attention to construction and durability, these sweatpants are built to withstand years of wear. Whether worn as part of a full Double Heavyweight set or on their own, they offer unmatched warmth, substance, and long-term comfort.
