A vintage-inspired work shirt made from 10oz Japanese selvedge denim, the BIG JOHN MS005E combines the durability of traditional workwear with a clean, understated silhouette. The denim is woven to recreate the distinctive neppy texture found in vintage fabrics, giving the surface a subtle irregularity and depth.
Substantial without feeling overly heavy, the fabric has a rich hand that will soften and evolve naturally with wear. The deep indigo is designed to fade beautifully over time, developing contrast and character with every wear and wash. Like a well-worn pair of jeans, the shirt gradually becomes uniquely yours.
With its simplified construction and timeless workwear proportions, the MS005E is an exceptionally versatile piece that can be worn on its own or layered throughout the seasons. The restrained design puts the focus where it belongs: on the quality, texture, and aging of the Japanese selvedge denim.
