This 5oz selvedge chambray is slowly and deliberately woven on vintage shuttle looms from the early 1950s at a historic mill in Japan’s Bitchu region. Using slub yarns in both the warp and weft, the fabric develops a dry, textured hand and an unmistakably vintage character. As it ages, the indigo dye produces rich, individual fades - turning each shirt into a unique record of its wearer’s journey.
Constructed with classic triple-needle stitching, a signature detail of traditional work shirts, this piece is built for long-lasting durability.
