Buy NowGraph Zero's 15oz Skein Dyed Jeans feature the traditional Japanese kase-zome dyeing technique applied to the brand's own low-tension slub selvedge denim. Traditionally used with indigo, Graph Zero adapts the kase-zome method with black and light grey dyes – yielding a heavily textured fabric with extreme tonal variation and a depth of surface unlike anything achievable through conventional yarn dyeing.
The base cloth is a 15oz unsanforized slub selvedge denim, woven at low tension on vintage shuttle looms for exceptional character and drape. Originally unsanforized, the denim undergoes a one-wash rinse to remove shrinkage and soften the fabric – delivering a stabilized, broken-in feel from the first wear. As the jeans age, the black and grey tones will fade and evolve in unpredictable ways, producing a patina personal to the wearer.
The silhouette is Graph Zero's modern slim fit – a straight cut with ample room through the top block and a slight taper through the legs. A refined, contemporary profile that pairs equally well with boots, sneakers, or sandals.
Construction details reflect Graph Zero's commitment to craftsmanship. The jeans feature custom engraved buttons and hardware, back pocket rivets, custom herringbone pocket bags, hidden coin pocket selvedge, a custom vegetable-tanned leather patch, and the Graph Zero Factory badge at the rear.
Fit Notes: This model runs slightly large for Graph Zero. Compared to most global American brands, we recommend sizing down one from your usual size for the intended fit. The denim is unsanforized but has been one-washed, so no further shrinkage is expected. Due to the low-tension weave typical of Graph Zero fabrics, the waistband will stretch approximately 1 inch with regular wear. As always, we strongly recommend checking our size chart and comparing it to your best-fitting pair to find the perfect size.
