The Astrid – Barrel Fit Soft Wash The Astrid is our barrel fit jean. A shape designed to offer ease, movement and a distinctive silhouette. The fit sits comfortably at the waist before curving gently through the leg and narrowing slightly towards the ankle. This subtle shape creates a relaxed profile that feels modern while remaining easy to wear.

Barrel fits are valued for their balance. They provide room where it matters most – through the hip and thigh – while maintaining a structured silhouette that avoids feeling oversized. The Astrid captures that balance, creating a shape that feels relaxed yet intentional. Our enzyme wash gives the denim a softer handle from the first wear.

Developed with LaundRe London, the process brings natural variation to the indigo while retaining enough structure for the fabric to continue evolving over time. Crafted from Candiani’s 13oz Italian indigo denim, woven from 100% regeneratively grown cotton. The enzyme wash creates a natural vintage finish and an easier feel from the outset, while leaving plenty of life in the denim to develop with wear.

Every pair of Astrid jeans is handcrafted in Aberteifi, Wales by the Grand Masters who make up our small team. By focusing on making jeans – and only jeans – we’re able to give careful attention to the details that help them last. The Astrid is a modern barrel fit designed for everyday life.
