The Benjamin – Relaxed Taper Organic Denim The Benjamin is our relaxed taper jean. A fit designed to offer comfort through the top of the leg while tapering cleanly towards the ankle. It begins with room where it matters most. The relaxed thigh allows the jean to move naturally with the body, giving ease throughout the day.

From the knee down the shape narrows gradually, creating a balanced silhouette that feels modern without being restrictive. The result is a jean that sits between classic and contemporary. Relaxed enough to feel comfortable from the first wear, but with a defined taper that keeps the overall look sharp.

The Benjamin is cut from organic denim, chosen for its durability and the way it improves with time. When new, the fabric has structure and strength. With wear it softens, fades and adapts to the way you live in it, developing character unique to each pair. Handmade and Rinse washed in Aberteifi by our Grandmaster Rob, whose years of experience refining wash recipes at Hiut Denim ensure every pair strikes the right balance between softness, character and authenticity.

The result is a jean with a softer hand feel that will continue to age beautifully with every wear. Every pair is handcrafted in Cardigan, Wales by the Grand Masters who make up our small team. By focusing on only one thing – making jeans – we can pay attention to the details that help them last.

Reinforced back pockets strengthen one of the most stressed areas of the garment. Triple-needle stitching reinforces key seams. These decisions add time to the process, but they add years to the life of the jeans. And because we believe good jeans should stay with you, every pair comes with free repairs for life.
