The Gwilym – Slim Straight Leg Soft Wash The Gwilym sits between a slim fit and a classic straight leg. A shape designed to feel modern while keeping the balance and ease of a traditional jean. The fit follows the natural line of the body without becoming narrow. It sits comfortably through the waist and thigh, then falls straight through the leg with a slightly slimmer profile than a traditional straight cut.

For many people this is the most versatile silhouette in denim. Clean enough to look sharp, relaxed enough to feel comfortable day after day. Our enzyme wash gives the denim a softer handle from the first wear. Developed with LaundRe London, the process brings natural variation to the indigo while retaining enough structure for the fabric to continue evolving over time.

Crafted from Candiani’s 13oz Italian indigo denim, woven from 100% regeneratively grown cotton. The enzyme wash creates a natural vintage finish and an easier feel from the outset, while leaving plenty of life in the denim to develop with wear. Every pair is handcrafted in Cardigan, Wales by the Grand Masters who make up our small team.

By focusing on making only jeans, we can give proper attention to the details that help them last. Reinforced back pockets protect against one of the most common points of failure in denim. Triple-needle stitching strengthens seams that carry the most stress. These are small decisions, but they extend the life of the garment.
