The Jerald – Straight Leg in a Soft Wash The Jerald is our take on a classic straight leg jean. Clean through the thigh, straight from hip to hem, and designed to feel right from the first wear. A straight leg is one of denim’s most enduring shapes. It sits naturally on the body, offering room where you need it while keeping a balanced silhouette.

Not too slim. Not too wide. Just a dependable everyday fit. Our enzyme wash gives the denim a softer handle from the first wear. Developed with LaundRe London, the process brings natural variation to the indigo while retaining enough structure for the fabric to continue evolving over time.

Crafted from Candiani’s 13oz Italian indigo denim, woven from 100% regeneratively grown cotton. The enzyme wash creates a natural vintage finish and an easier feel from the outset, while leaving plenty of life in the denim to develop with wear. Like every pair of Hiut jeans, The Jerald is handcrafted in Cardigan, Wales by the Grand Masters who make up our small team.

Each pair passes through skilled hands that have spent decades working with denim. The focus is simple: make the best jeans we can, one pair at a time. The construction is built for longevity. Reinforced back pockets help prevent early wear. Triple-needle stitching strengthens high-stress seams.
