The Dotsume Pocket T-Shirt shares the same mid-century inspiration and heavyweight construction as its pocketless counterpart, with the addition of a practical chest pocket that adds both function and subtle visual detail.
Crafted from an extremely dense 'Dotsume' jersey weighing approximately 11.5oz, it is produced using a deliberately slow knitting process on specialized low-gauge machines – allowing the yarn to be compacted to the maximum, resulting in a fabric that is highly durable and remarkably stable.
This knitting method creates a fabric that is thick, structured, and long-lasting, maintaining its shape even after repeated washes. Unlike a standard T-shirt, the Dotsume offers excellent stability, reduces deformation, and significantly limits shrinkage – while still remaining comfortable to wear across long days.
Designed for everyday use, the Dotsume also delivers practical benefits: reassuring opacity, reduced visibility of sweat marks, and a fabric that does not cling to the skin thanks to its structure. The collar is reinforced with binder construction and finished with a thick sweatshirt-style rib, adding both durability and a refined vintage touch to the overall silhouette.
With its slightly boxy fit and robust appearance, the Dotsume T-Shirt embodies a refined vintage aesthetic – faithful to Jackman's DNA of creating garments that appear simple at first glance but are built with a high level of technical and textile expertise.
Fit Notes: This T-shirt runs small – approximately one size smaller than your usual American size. Compared to most global American brands, we recommend sizing up one from your usual size for a comfortable fit. As always, we strongly recommend checking our size chart and comparing it with your best-fitting T-shirt to ensure the right fit.
