Buy NowDive into the distinctive essence of the new Kobashi Studio backpack, a testament to exceptional craftsmanship and quality materials that tell stories spanning decades. Crafted from 19oz water-resistant paraffin brown canvas, a fabric produced by the same Japanese textile company since 1885, the backpack not only exudes durability but also carries a rich heritage.
Every detail narrates a unique story: the solid brass YKK zipper, made in Japan, ensures a smooth and sturdy closure. The press-molded brass buckle, sourced from an early 1900s hardware company, adds a touch of vintage authenticity to the backpack. Elegance lies in the details, and the Japanese vegetable-tanned saddle leather pull is a testament to that.
The nylon tape surrounding the backpack, produced in Shizuoka since 1950, brings a touch of tradition to modern functionality. Yet, comfort is not sacrificed for style: both the shoulder and back of the backpack are carefully cushioned, providing the necessary comfort to accompany you in your daily endeavors.
It's not just a backpack; it's a functional work of art. Handmade in Hyogo, Japan, every stitch tells a story of craftsmanship perfected over time. Designed to withstand the rigors of daily use for years, it's a piece meant to be handed down rather than tossed out. With its standard dimensions, this backpack seamlessly fits into your lifestyle while elevating it to a higher level.
Kobashi Studio is a small Japanese Tokyo-based atelier specializing in solid brass accessories of the highest quality and detailing found today. Its founder Junichi Kobashi draws upon completely handcrafted production using vintage machinery and manual processes to create the most special and beautiful brass pieces we have ever seen.
