MOMOTARO JEANS MMGJ1002 14.7oz #002 "Standard" Denim Type II Jacket Black

About this product

The new Momotaro Type II Denim Jacket redefines a timeless classic with a modern, streamlined silhouette and premium craftsmanship. Crafted from 14.7oz double black sulfur-dyed sanforized fabric – known for its exceptionally deep black hue, tight weave, and distinctive texture – this jacket showcases a bold, saturated black that complements any wardrobe. Ideal for both casual and refined looks, the fabric delivers a clean, uniform tone with a subtle luster and lasting depth.

Designed for both style and functionality, the updated Type II features hidden hand-warmer pockets seamlessly integrated into the side seams, preserving its clean, minimalist aesthetic. Inside, useful inner pockets provide additional storage without compromising the jacket’s sleek profile.

Cut in an updated Type II silhouette, the jacket features a slightly narrower fit through the body and sleeves for a clean, tailored look. Discreet hand-warmer pockets integrated into the side seams and inner compartments provide function without disrupting the minimalist aesthetic. As part of Momotaro’s rebrand, this jacket incorporates elements reminiscent of high-end luxury fashion, blending Japanese heritage with contemporary design. Premium details like extra-thick buttons and a cowhide indigo-dyed leather patch further elevate its refinement, durability, and modern elegance – a true statement piece in any collection.

Fit Notes: New Momotaro jackets run true to size. If you wear a size M in American t-shirts, you should select a size M in this one. However, body types vary, so we always recommend checking our size chart for the perfect fit.
