The Mooncastle 7G Cashmere Bottleneck Pullover is a true expression of Japanese knitwear excellence, crafted from 100% premium cashmere – a fiber often referred to in Japan as 'the jewel of fibers.' This exceptional piece is produced by Mooncastle, a factory brand launched in 2020 by a historic knitwear manufacturer founded in 1966 in Misaki, Osaka Prefecture. With very few exceptions, all Mooncastle pieces are made entirely in their in-house factory, ensuring uncompromising quality and consistency.
The cashmere itself is supplied by Toyoboshi, one of Japan's most prestigious spinning companies and the very first to produce cashmere yarn domestically. Founded in 1879, Toyoboshi brings more than 130 years of history and over 80 years dedicated specifically to cashmere spinning – its Japanese-made yarn internationally recognized for consistency, purity, and exceptional quality, preserved through generations of master artisans and proprietary technology.
