SAMURAI JEANS SJST-PCMIIL Heavyweight Pocket Plain T-Shirt White

About this product

You can go really far with just a plain T-shirt and a pair of jeans – and like jeans, the hunt for a perfect tee can be daunting. Fortunately, Samurai offers some of the best T-shirts money can buy in their core collection. No need to search further.

The fabric is crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Samurai uses only the finest hand-picked raw cotton, expertly spun into slubby #14 threads that bring distinctive texture and exceptional durability to every piece.

To achieve the unique handfeel, the fabric is knit on a vintage circular knitting machine called 'Daimaruki' – a machine renowned for its historical significance in Japan during the first half of the 20th century, and now rarely seen in modern production. The slow-paced process gives the cloth a firm yet supple softness that no contemporary high-speed knitting can replicate.

A simple chest pocket completes the design, balancing the T-shirt's heritage character with everyday functionality.

Fit Notes: These T-shirts run small. Compared to most global American brands, we recommend sizing up one from your usual size for a comfortable fit. As a reference, a Samurai size L fits closer to a standard American Medium. We stock the Large (Overseas version), which is 3cm longer in length only than the standard Japanese version. As always, we strongly recommend checking our size chart and comparing it with your best-fitting T-shirt to ensure the right fit.
