The Samurai Jeans SOS26-ARS is a short-sleeve open-collar shirt built around one of the brand's most distinctive fabrics: an original indigo sashiko lattice cloth, woven and dyed entirely in-house. The result is a shirt that reads equally at home as a modern take on the classic aloha silhouette or as a workwear-inspired summer piece, easy to wear across all warm-weather styling.

The fabric's lattice pattern is reproduced through a combination of natural indigo and synthetic indigo blended dye, creating a deep, slightly purple tone that gives the cloth its unmistakable visual depth. Using a traditional Kasezome hand-dyeing process, the yarn is dyed in hank form before weaving – allowing uneven dye penetration and the kind of tonal variation that rope-dyeing simply cannot produce. Rather than fading out with wear, the resulting blue deepens and becomes richer over time, developing a character particular to each garment.

Cut into a relaxed silhouette with generous room through the body and sleeves, the shirt is finished with clean, simple detailing – an open camp collar, a single chest pocket, and urea buttons at the front placket.
