Buy NowThese jeans are crafted from exclusive 13oz. selvedge denim, woven on vintage shuttle looms at the renowned Kuroki Mill in Okayama. Made from premium Zimbabwe cotton, the fabric showcases a distinctive rough and slubby texture with subtle green undertones, embodying authentic Japanese denim character.
Drawing inspiration from the slim, tapered silhouettes of the 1960s, these jeans redefine retro with modern precision. Each pair reflects Stevenson's dedication to artisanal techniques, featuring curved belt loops, single-stitch flat-felled seams, and vintage-style coin and back pockets – all handmade using methods rooted in 1920s denim production. The medium-rise cut offers a slim fit through the top block, tapering elegantly to the hem for a sharp, tailored finish.
The La Jolla is more than a pair of jeans – it's a timeless statement of style and tradition built to age beautifully and last for years.
Fit Notes: These jeans have a standard sizing. We recommend choosing your usual size. However, as always, we recommend checking the size chart first to find your perfect size. The fabric is unsanforized but the jeans have been one-washed to reduce most shrinkage. The waist will experience the typical stretching. Expect approximately 0.5 to 1 inch of stretching.
