Buy NowNot quite a tee, not quite a sweat – the Sunray Sportswear Makaha lives in its own league. Crafted from a beefy-but-buttery 300gsm Japanese jersey cotton, the Makaha is one of Sunray's statement T-shirts: relaxed through the body, slightly wider than usual at the sleeve, and finished with a signature strong neckline that doesn't rely on logos or slogans to stand out.
The fabric is dense and substantial, yet smooth and soft against the skin – closer to a lightweight sweatshirt in weight, while wearing with the ease of a T-shirt. The 300gsm Japanese jersey delivers exceptional structure, holding shape across long days while improving in feel with every wash.
The silhouette is relaxed and boxy with wider-than-usual sleeves for a clean, contemporary profile. A unique double-rib neck detail adds quiet refinement and ensures the collar holds its shape over time. The body is knit without side seams, eliminating twisting and producing a cleaner, more comfortable drape against the skin.
Just solid construction, vintage machinery, and very good cotton – the kind of T-shirt that needs nothing else.
Fit Notes: This T-shirt fits true to size for a relaxed, boxy silhouette. As a reference, size 44 fits like a standard American Large, with 40 = S, 42 = M, 46 = XL. As always, we strongly recommend checking our size chart and comparing it with your best-fitting T-shirt to ensure the right fit.
